What is different?
Results, not promises
I am not in the business of promising relief only if you return for more sessions. I deliver treatment on the day we meet to achieve results then and there. Most patients require only one consultation.
I take responsibility
Should there be no improvement whatsoever, despite two sessions with me, I take full responsibility. I will invite you back at no charge to reassess and get it right. You will not be blamed for ‘not doing the exercises’.
No rush
We spend 75 minutes together: enough time for you to tell me the full story, and for me to deliver thorough assessment, clear explanations, expert hands-on treatment, and practical advice. You will not be rushed.
No sweat
You come to receive specialised treatment in a clinical setting, not to be pushed through a training programme in a gym. Manual therapy, dry-needling, and slow mobilisations: targeted, comfortable, and effective.
No pressure
There is no course of treatment to sell you. You leave the consultation with no strings attached and no pressure to rebook. In your own time, you decide: you come back only if you need to, not because I told you.
Available when you are
I run my clinic on weekday evenings and on Saturdays. You will not need to take time off work or discuss your ailment with your manager. Physio Differently® is primarily built around working people’s lives.

Whether you’re dealing with a recent injury or something you’ve been quietly managing for years, you do not have to live with it. From cervicogenic headaches, tinnitus, and vertigo, to frozen shoulder, piriformis syndrome, and rotator cuff injuries; from back pain to sciatica; for all trapped nerves with sharp shooting pains to throbbing dull aches, numbness, tingling, and weakness… most neuromusculoskeletal problems can be fixed without the need for a long course of treatment, injections, or surgical interventions.
If you have already tried everything
→ this is especially for you.
Most of my patients come to me with a history of treatments that did not work, alongside MRI reports and consultant opinions. A fresh pair of eyes with a different diagnostic and treatment approach can change everything. Expect a thorough reassessment, a clear explanation, and effective hands-on treatment—all in the same visit.
And if it turns out your problem sits outside the scope of physiotherapy, I will still endeavour to give you as much relief as I can, explain clearly what I believe is going on, and point you in the right direction.
About
Physiotherapy, as typically delivered, too often fails the patient: an initial assessment that leaves you without a clear diagnosis; going back home, still in pain, with an exercise sheet and an elastic band; relief that is only promised if you come back for more and ‘do the exercises’; treatment sessions that alternate between ineffective therapy and being watched doing yet more ‘exercises’; all the while your time and money are being spent with a mounting sense that nobody is really getting to the bottom of things…
I have created Physio Differently® because I believe there is a better way: making more time for patients, getting an accurate neuromusculoskeletal diagnosis, and providing effective treatment so as to get results in ONE consultation.
After training in the United Kingdom and over years treating staff injuries within the Belfast Health & Social Care Trust, I accumulated experience in musculoskeletal medicine, Western medical acupuncture, dry-needling, and trigger point therapy. I was driven by the idea that I should be able to help patients immediately: not just with a diagnosis, but with instant relief, effectively helping them out of their suffering. Patients appreciated this approach and, sharing their frustrations with other physiotherapy experiences, confirmed that there was real scope for something ‘different’. This was the beginning of Physio Differently®.
